Simple yet Sophisticated

This new year's eve I wanted to look simple yet sophisticated at affordable price, so I went to the mall and I am so happy to see a lot of red and yellow signs which means SALE SALE SALE!!!!!!!!! And yaaaahhh after 1 hour, I finally found the one :) 

I'm loving this Dark Blue Romper from H&M which I got for 100 DKK or around 600 pesos (original price was 199 DKK or around 2000 pesos). This is a tube romper with pockets made of silky fabric which is very soft and comfortable to wear.  What an outfit without an accessory right? So I went to accessories section in H&M and found this cute Silver detailed necklace that I got for 30 DKK or around 180 pesos (original price was 60 DKK or around 360 pesos). This is just a simple detailed necklace, which has small squares connected to each other. And I decided to wear a flat shoes to make me more comfortable and keep the look simple. I got this Black flatshoes from deichman for 169 DKK or around 1000 pesos. This flatshoes if very comfortable to wear, it also has a flower design in the front with black beads which make it cute. I am so excited to wear this outfit and take a lot of photos!

MAKEUP BRUSHES

 

 FINALLY!! New purchased makeup brushes!

 

I got this 10 pcs. makeup brush set from www.ebay.com for around $9. This is made from HongKong and they have 3 available colors (pink, white & black) , obviously I chose black :)

I think I'm going to love this brushes because they are so  soft when I tried it on my skin and it is also easy or comfortable to hold.

My first ever metallic eyeshadow palette!! yey!!

 This is the Viva La Diva Metal Eye shadows palette. I really like the front cover because it is so elegant looking. It comes with a mirror inside and a garter as a lock or to secure the palette.

This palette contains 32 different shades. All of them are metallic except the black shade which is matt.

I swatched it on my arm and I think this is really a nice palette, it is so pigmented and the colors are vibrant.

PARIS, FRANCE

CHILDHOOD PROMISE/WISH

 

Did you ever make a promise/wish to yourself before when you're still young? If you'll ask me, then my answer is a big yes.

I can't forget that day after seeing the picture and reading the article of the Eiffel Tower in Paris. I said to myself  "one day, I will be seeing this in personal." And of course after saying that I realized it's impossible.

 

 

(Fast forward)

 

 

 

And whoever thought that promise I made 10 years ago just happened.

 

Big YES!!! Last August this year (2015) I do treat myself (actually a birthday gift for myself) a vacation to the City of Light, Paris, France!! :) :) :)

SACRE COEUR BASILICA (Basilica of the Sacred Heart)

 

To start our day, we visited first the Sacre Coeur Basilica  (Basilica of the Sacred Heart) which I believe is located in the highest point of the City because from there you can see almost the entire city. I will say the view was so perfect ( I can imagine the view during the night when all the lights are turned on waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa )

We are so lucky and blessed enough to enter in the Basilica to light a candle and offer some prayers.

We also went to Louvre Pyramid, Notre Dame, Arc of Triumph and Grand Palace but we didn't able to get inside ( too many tourist, we don't have enough time to wait ).

While walking along that Bridge, while seeing those padlocks, I just can't stop myself from smiling. I was imagining those lovers who locked their hearts in that bridge. Those sweet messages written on the padlocks, It simply melts my heart.

And to our last stop.

The moment I saw the tower the feeling was so unexplainable. Everything is a blank. My eyes were focused to that thing. I can't believe I am looking at the real tower not a photo anymore. I am so happy that all I did is smile and take a photo, of course I can't miss that chance.

We stayed there until the bronze tower was covered with lights. It was so beautiful, I felt so in love on that moment specially when the one minute light show (don't know the exact term) started. That was so perfect. So romantic. Everything was worth it.

Statue of The Little Mermaid in Copenhagen, Denmark.

             YES!! This is this the famous Statue of the Little Mermaid in Copenhagen, Denmark which is also the major tourist attraction of the country.

             I always heard this thing from my friends that makes me so curious. So I decided to visit it with my sister and cousin. From a distance, It was like a sculpture of a nude lady made of bronze on top of the big stone. And I was thinking, why did they call it the Little Mermaid? But when I get near to it I realized there is a tail, so yeah it is really a mermaid.

 

          It took us a little time before we got a photo because there's a lot of tourists. And yey it worth the wait. Thanks to he kind tourist who took this photo for us and to my sister for my perfect shot.
